Admission: Free
Samir Chatterjee is a virtuoso tabla
player from India, and his performances and compositions are widely
acclaimed. He recently performed at the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony in
Oslo, Norway. Chinese pipa soloist/singer/composer
Min Xiao-Fen, internationally known for
her virtuosity and fluid style, has received high acclaim for her
classical, new music and jazz performances. Master Japanese koto player
Masayo Ishgure was recently awarded the
honor of participating in the 33rd "Ikusaikai" program sponsored by NHK
(Japanese Broadcasting Corporation). This once in a lifetime event will
feature Mr. Chatterjee's composition "Wings."
